To share a little bit about myself, my name is Michelle Rufo, I live in Newcastle New South Wales, I’m a Wife, a Mother to two wonderful teenagers, a Stepmother to five amazing young adults and Step Nonna to three little princesses. There is only so much crochet my family, nieces and nephew can wear or my house can display. So rather than slow down on creating and after some gentle nudging by my family, I have decided to create some items for you.

My love for the art started as a child without even realising. My Grandma was a skilled knitter if we could describe it and it was knittable it was ours, I watched her produce some amazing garments which would be best described as art rather than clothing. I never thought that it would be a craft I could master, whilst I am not a knitter I have found a love of crochet and creating items that bring a smile to my family and the personal satisfaction knowing how much love and time went into each piece. I now understand why Grandma would spend hours upon hours clicking her knitting needles.
